how it works

The information was always in the document.

Fragments of your agreement, the way you actually meet them — scattered, true one by one, never adding up. Point the camera and they resolve.

what it found

your month

Four plans. One number.

Every line here is true on its own. Nothing puts them in the same column — which is why nobody ever sees the bottom one.

and after that

You hear about it before the money moves.

Every date decode finds becomes a reminder. The plan you forgot is the one it tells you about first.

before you ask

Six questions.

will this affect my credit score?

it depends on the provider, and you have to read yours. Klarna's own Pay in 3 terms say they may report on-time, late and missed payments to credit reference agencies, and that this may affect your credit file.

Klarna Pay in 3 terms v1.0.1 · 14 July 2026

what happens if i miss one payment?

again it is the document that decides. under Klarna's Pay in 3 terms a late fee is 25% of the order total up to a maximum of £6, and only once the payment is still unpaid 14 days after it was due.

Klarna Pay in 3 terms v1.0.1 · 14 July 2026

can they take money if i cancel my card?

cancelling a card does not cancel the agreement. the money is still owed and the provider can ask for it another way. decode points you to the clause in your own document that says so.

does an AI decide what i owe?

no. the arithmetic is done by a deterministic calculator, so the same document gives the same answer every time. the language model reads the document and explains the result in plain English — it does not decide the numbers.

how accurate is it, and what if it is wrong?

every figure points to the line it came from, so you can check it against your own document in seconds. when a figure is not in the document, decode says it is not there rather than guessing.

how do i cancel?

in the app, two taps, no email and no phone call. three decodes a month stay free after you cancel.
